![]() I got pretty good shin bang after doing park for a while since there was nothing else to do this season in Utah. the stiffness and the thin tongue are not to forgiving when jumping and/or spinning. I love to ski park and do big jumps, spins and rails, but this isnt the best boot to do them in. Steeps, trees and BC they feel very light and responsive, you jsut have to make sure you pay attention to the boot thinning out after a few runs, the park however is a different story. ![]() I have rode these on just about all terrain and can say they are super solid. As far as weight, they are pretty light as boots go but walking or hiking around the mountain will help you to remember you got ski boots on. I didnt realize how effective the boot strap could be in securing your leg to the boot. the boot strap especially I found very helpful. they are very snug and comfortable, the sturdy buckles and large boot strap make sure of that. These have been the best most responsive boots I have owned. at first they were a bit to snug at my great toe but I had the toes blown out 1-2mm at a pro shop and it was pretty cheap. I wear a size 10 shoe comfortable so with the boots I went with a 8.5. If you do not get footbeds you will be hurting. superfeet work great for a cheaper than custom fit. Overall a great stiff boot for advanced skiers looking for good control and responsivness.įirst off I have to say, although it may be obvious, you have to get aftermarket footbeds. If you have big legs dont even bother trying salomon boots, as far as I can tell they are made for average to thin legged people, and same for the toe box. ![]() Great ski boot for almost anything, little stiff and thin for park though. ![]()
